1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information the TRIAD Prayer mobile app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in (via Apple or Google sign-in), we receive a unique account identifier and the email address associated with that sign-in. We use this to create and secure your account.

Content you create. Prayer reflections, journal entries, declarations, "wall" posts, and similar content you choose to save are stored in your account so they sync to your devices.

Usage & progress data. Streaks, completed sessions, insights, settings (such as theme and text-size preferences), and reminder preferences.

Subscription data. When you purchase a subscription, our payments partner (RevenueCat) and the Apple App Store / Google Play process the transaction. We receive your subscription status and entitlements. We never receive or store your full card or payment details — those are handled by Apple, Google, and their processors.

Audio playback. Spoken prayer/audio is generated using a text-to-speech service (Google Cloud Text-to-Speech). The text needed to produce the audio is sent to that service to return the spoken audio.

Device & technical data. Basic device information and diagnostic/crash data are needed to keep the app stable and secure.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide, sync, and personalize the app and your saved content.

Process subscriptions and unlock premium features.

Send prayer reminders and notifications you've enabled.

Maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.

Comply with legal obligations.

4. How Your Information Is Stored & Protected

Your data is stored using Supabase (our backend and database provider). Access is protected with per-user security rules so that you can only access your own content. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and apply reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share limited data only with providers that help us run the app:

Supabase — account, content, and progress storage.

RevenueCat + Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription processing and status.

Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — generating spoken audio.

Push/notification services — delivering reminders you enable.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

6. Push Notifications

If you enable reminders, we send notifications to your device. You can turn these off anytime in the app's settings or your device's system settings.

7. Your Choices & Rights

Access/update: Manage your content and settings inside the app.

Sign out: Available in Settings.

Delete your account: Use Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and associated content from our systems (subject to limited legal/backup retention).

Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA/UK/California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Children's Privacy

TRIAD Prayer is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete associated personal content, except where limited retention is required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

10. International Users

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, with in-app notice.
